As each foal is born they are imprinted at birth and handled on a daily basis. We have a TV monitor set up both in the barn living quarters and in the house. I sit in the pastures with them and love all over the them so they are the sweetest babies that you can imagine!
They are turned out with their dams together in paneled paddocks, next to each other so they can visit through the panel openings. The stud colts are kept in a separate pasture together with their dams and with each other so they grow up with good maners.
At weaning time they are turned out with their dam by panel paddock separation next to each other so they can visit and experience less stress.
